Hey y'all, it's the Oscars - Part 3!!!

Here's part 3 now and it starts with the prediction box joke number too many, where's Octavia? She's not there!! She's where? Oh, presenting Common and John Legend's powerful performance of "Glory" from Selma. Even Captain Kirk himself, Chris Pine, was brought to tears. Octavia (from the state of Alabama, you get to claim her Auburn fans!) reminded the audience that 47 years ago, the Oscars were postponed due to the murder of Dr. King. The visual of the choir marching across the Edmund Pettus Bridge and the solemn looks on their faces, all races & creeds, just amazing. Although, now for shallow, John Legend's wife Chrissy Teigen just annoys me for some reason.

Benedict Cumberbatch, it's not only the most awesome name in show business, it's also the sound you get when you ask John Travolta to pronounce Ben Affleck. Bahaha, best joke of the night. Oh Travolta. But Benny gave some great mugging to the camera during that. Now, Idina Menzel comes out looking fantastic and she's presenting with John Travolta. RIP to the poor roadkill who died to make his ugly wig and the bike chain that made his necklace. But we are over the Adele Dezeem joke right? And when was the last time Travolta had a hit movie? In other words, WHY IS HE THERE? The Oscar for best song rightly went to Common and John Legend for Glory. What an eloquent and quietly powerful speech from them. Next, a special performance by Lady Gaga, yes, you heard that right.

So Scarlett Johannson and sparkly neck parasite comes out to talk about the movie The Sound of Music. I watched TSOM for the first time when I did summer missions in Kansas. I had no broadcast TV, just some videotapes. One was TSOM and I figured, why not. It was actually kinda cool and dark with escaping from Nazis and stuff. Now, to sing music from it is...NOT Carrie Underwood, but Lady Gaga. And she was AMAZING! You can tell she has had proper vocal training. Julie Andrews validation of her after meant so much to her, it was really quite wonderful. I think Gaga wants to take over Broadway or something. I think she could do it. She's been playing a character for the past several years. This shows her real voice, not that generic dance crap. I love Julie Andrews, she seems like the nicest British lady EVER! Best original score goes to Alexandre Desplat for The Grand Budapest Hotel. Great work, perfect for the film.

Now Eddie Murphy comes out to present original screenplay. I hoped for Boyhood so Linklater would win SOMETHING tonight, but Birdman's screenplay was so original and crazy how could you not love it. But apparently to write that movie, you have to have weird hair, so I guess I'm not writing it. Now Queen Oprah comes out to present adapted screenplay, not to my choice Whiplash, but to Graham Moore for The Theory of Everything. Good solid script, but his speech was amazing. It was about how he tried to kill himself at 16 due to depression and feeling weird. He told everyone to "Stay weird. Stay different, and then when it's your turn and you are standing on this stage please pass the same message along." Awesome. Was that John Stamos in the audience? Is yogurt a sponsor?

Ben Affleck presents Best Director to Alejandro Gonzalez Innaritu for Birdman. In his speech he mentions Michael Keaton's underwear. In the movie, it makes sense, I promise, still a little odd. LOL. Cate Blanchett presents best actor to not my choice of Beetlejuice himself Mr. Michael Keaton and his bold performance in Birdman, but to Eddie Redmayne for his physical performance in The Theory of Everything. He seems like a nice guy though but also seems 16.

My Granny used to watch As the World Turns, later I started watching it. One actress on there was playing twin sister/cousins. She won an Emmy. Now, she's an Oscar winner, Julianne Moore. She was so heartbreaking in Still Alice, a movie about a 50 year old with early onset Alzheimers. Just amazing. So was Reese in Wild, but Julianne just broke your heart. Glad Matthew McConaughey didn't go all hippy dippy trippy like last year. Julianne's speech was great too!

Sean Penn comes out to present best picture. He still annoys and scares me and he took too long after reading it because he'd worked with the director on 21 Grams. Penn looks like he smells like cigarettes, whiskey, and get off my lawn-ness. Birdman was my choice for best picture anyway, so I'm happy about it. Innaritu did make a great joke about 2 Mexicans in a row winning best director and wondering if the government will put up a law to prevent that haha

The show overall was meh, nothing too exciting, no surprises. No very well dressed or very badly dressed. Just meh. Oh well, it's still the Oscars and I still love movies, forever and always.

Enjoy movies yourself. Good night, time to watch The Walking Dead.

Hey y'all, it's the Oscars - Part 2!!

Part 2 starts with NPH doing a Birdman parody which basically means he wanted to show us his undies. Michael Keaton did it funnier haha. But I did like the Whiplash joke which was also a Birdman joke about the score. SYNERGY!! Now Miles Teller & Margot Robbie tell about scientific Oscars held two weeks ago at what looks like a cheap hotel in Beverly Hills. Oscar nominees get a swag bag worth over $100K, these folks got to pinch Margot's bottom. Well, they got to think about it without being slapped.

Now someone who I don't understand how she keeps getting work, Sienna Miller. She wasn't awful in American Sniper. She's with Chris Evans from those superhero movies I don't want to see. This was rightly won by Whiplash. I'm not sure what sound mixing is or how it's different from sound editing, but the drumming sounds were great. Sound Editing was won by American Sniper. I thought the sound was great it in. You can tell I'm proficient in these categories.

NPH changes to a red suit to introduce last year's winner Jared Leto in a powder blue suit and white shoes, because he's performing in a Pat Boone tribute band after? Patricia Arquette won and she should have. I don't usually like her in most things, ok in anything. But dang if she wasn't awesome in Boyhood. Big props to the sublime Laura Dern and the awesome Emma Stone for their noms. All the clips were the best, but Meryl's clip should have been The Last Midnight. Patricia's lipstick smear was thanks to Emma Stone and her speech ended with a call for wage equality which led to Meryl Streep giving a huge loud cheer. Doesn't bother me, you do the work you get the pay, male or female. I hate it's still an issue in 2015.

Haha, loved the PETA/Peeta joke there. Now Rita Ora is singing a lesser Diane Warren song on a tall platform and wearing some ugly snake necklace. Is it done yet? It is if you are watching on DVR and hit FF :)  Now Ansel Elgort from Fault In Our Stars and Chloe Grace Moretz from a great future in Hollywood present visual effects. I wished Guardians of the Galaxy would have won, but Interstellar earned it. Now Anna Kendrick & Kevin Hart present best animated short film, because both of them are animated and short. Feast wins and it's fun to see their spouses get all weepy & excited because this is their biggest moment. You go strangers! Now Zoe Saldana & Dwayne Johnson present animated feature, but not to the snubbed Lego Movie, the only one I saw, but to Big Hero 6 which kinda looks entertaining. Yeah, don't care for some reason. Cue more crying spouses, commercials FAST FORWARD, Academy president, FAST FORWARD. OK, back to awards, Chris Pratt (I want to hang out with him and his wife Anna Faris) and Felicity Jones who was perfectly fine in Theory of Everything. The production design Oscar goes to The Grand Budapest Hotel. So perfectly strange and beautiful. Wes Anderson is also a bit strange and unique, like his date's lace tablecloth dress.

Now Idris Elba and Jessica Chastain get introduced with the heroic feats their characters in films have done, while NPH reminds America that in 1,000 Ways To Die In the West, he pooped in a hat. This award is cinematography, and the award logically went to Birdman for the look of creating a movie of one continuous shot. So flipping BRILLIANT! Trivia, he worked with Jessica Chastain in Tree of Life.

Now Meryl Streep lends appropriate gravitas to what I call "the death parade" aka those who died this year. It's then Jennifer Hudson's turn to remind us she can sing, but thankfully not remind us that she can't act and not remind us she went on Weight Watchers. The song was from the flop TV show Smash. Yeah, that show was memorable, at least the music wasn't awful.

After a commercial, best British name ever nominee Benedict Cumberbatch and better without trying to do an American accent Naomi Watts present best editing to Whiplash. It was brilliant edited. PS, was Naomi Watts wearing a dress over a sparkly tube top or do I just not know fashion?

Now, Empire's own Lucious Lyon himself Terrance Howard gets overly emotional presenting the final best picture nominees Whiplash (brilliant and brutal) The Imitation Game (good and solid but didn't move me except for Benedict's performance) and Selma (so powerful to watch and experience)

Normally I would question why Jennifer Aniston was anywhere near movie awards, but apparently her movie Cake earned her great reviews and some nominations. But not an Oscar nom, Angelina still has her beat. Bahaha. Sorry, not an Aniston fan lol. David Oyelowo was mesmerizing as Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in Selma. So amazing and a warts and all performance. Citizenfour about controversial whistle blower Edward Snowden wins. I want to see it just to get a fuller picture of what he did and how he's viewed.

So that's it for hour 2, I leave it being political :) Ready for the last part or 2? You better be!

Hey y'all, it's the Oscars - Part 1!

And it's only a day late! I was watching with friends last night so it would have been rude and tacky to ignore them and type away. I'm way too southern to be rude and tacky. Thankfully I'm southern enough to be mean about some of this stuff. Critical, I mean critical, mean is such a rude and tacky word. Fun opening number, wonderful when Anna Kendrick comes out. She has such a great voice and was wonderful in Into the Woods and in the new movie (mostly available On Demand) The Last Five Years. The production number is fun and a nod to past shows, but not tacky. But why is Jack Black there? When did he last have a hit movie? Although he was awesome in Bernie, directed by Richard Linklater who wrote & directed Boyhood (brilliant), so SYNERGY!

I'm proud that I've seen all of the best picture nominees, and all but 4 acting nominees and all but 3 screenplay nominees. Not too shabby. But it just means I have no life I think haha. The wonderful & lovely Lupita Nyong'o who deservedly won last year for 12 Years a Slave. Some great perfornaces, but the award rightly went to J.K. Simmons from Whiplash. I'll always think of him as Dr. Emil Skoda from Law & Order: Original Recipe. He was scary and amazing as the meanest teacher ever in Whiplash. See it if you get the chance! Love how ABC had Kerry Washington in the shot with Simmons' wife. Maybe they want Scandal watchers to forget how awful this season has been. Nice Farmers Insurance joke from NPH about JKS.

Neil's bit about his predictions and about Octavia Spencer watching them? Yeah, not really all that funny. At least Octavia was there with one of the young co-stars of Red Band Society, a show she was in this season that flopped, but wasn't too bad. Now, Liam Neeson is up to present the first few nominees for Best Picture. Liam, glad you made a ton of money off Taken, but start acting again. Stretch your talents! He introduces The Grand Budapest Hotel, a hilariously weird movie about a hotel concierge back before WWII done by Wes Anderson who I usually hate, but I loved this one. Then American Sniper, a solid movie about a Navy SEAL sniper who has trouble reconciling his war life with his home life. Bradley Cooper did a great job, especially with the accent.

Now, Don Johnson & Melanie Griffith's daughter, Dakota Johnson, from that dirty movie out, is here to introduce Maroon 5 singing Lost Stars from the movie Begin Again. I liked that movie, Begin Again not the dirty one. The movie arrangement was better. Trivia, this song was co-written by Gregg Alexander from 90s One Hit Wonder New Radicals (You Only Get What You Give) and former All In the Family child star Danielle Brisebois (Edith's niece Stephanie).

Now Captain Kirk and Jennifer Lopez's cleavage present costume design to The Grand Budapest Hotel. I thought it'd be Maleficient because the love fantasy. Plus, it would have been fun to cut to a shot of Jennifer Aniston if Angelina's movie won. Bahaha. But seriously, when did JLo last have a good movie or hit movie? Why is she there? She hasn't been Oscar worthy in over 15 years. Next, the wonderful Reese Witherspoon presents makeup & hairstyling to The Grand Budapest Hotel, but it should have gone to Guardians of the Galaxy. But Reese, that forehead, if you Botox, Botox it all. It looks odd to have just between your brows be smooth while everything else looks like a Shar Pei. But you were SOOO GREAT in Wild. Now, Alabama native Channing Tatum presents something about student filmmakers we've never heard of, so, moving on.

Now, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Nicole Kidman (aka best name and best divorce in Hollywood) present Best Foreign Language film to Ida from Poland, that country's first win! It's about a novice nun, orphaned during WWII, who must meet her Jewish aunt. Deep huh? Plus, the director giving the speech mentions his late wife and they stop playing him off stage. You go man!

Now the wonderful Shirley Maclaine (nice wig Shirley) introduces Boyhood (great long film about the changes that happen in families over time) The Theory of Everything (nice film about Stephen Hawking and his fight against ALS and fidelity.) and Birdman (wild and crazy and not for everyone but I loved how bizarre it was and Keaton was amazing!) Now NPH is back with some seat filler jokes ending with acting like Steve Carrell is a seat filler. How predictable. Now Marion Cotillard is here to introduce Everything Is Awesome, the wonderfully annoying  song from The Lego Movie. The performance is a hot mess, and sometimes in a good way, but sometimes not. The Lego Oscars were great.

Kerry Washington & Jason Bateman are now walking very slow and presenting short films, aka the ones y'all ain't never heard of. Some played here at Midtown Arts. The winner for live action short film was of course The Phone Call, duh, the biggest lock of the night. Documentary short was Crisis Hotline: Veterans Press 1, about helping vets in need of counseling. Good for them. That's an interesting wrap the one lady has. Looks like she was attacked by tribbles (you know, from Star Trek!). From Annelise to Abilene, here's Viola Davis, walking better than either of those 2 characters in heels. She's telling about the Honorary Oscar ceremony back in November. They felt these were weighing down the regular show, yeah, because it's been FLYING by since. Great to see Maureen O'Hara with an Oscar though. Now NPH is having the brilliant David Oyelowo tell insulting jokes in his British accent. Did do a great "why didn't y'all nominate him" joke though :) Bold red tux though.

Now the awful and awfully pretentious Gwyneth Paltrow comes out, attacked by some silk monster on her shoulder. But she's introducing Tim McGraw singing Glen Campbell's song about his fight with Alzheimer's "I'm Not Gonna Miss You". Such an emotionally spare song. I wish Julianne Moore had introduced this because of her movie Still Alice (more to come on that later).

OK, that's enough reading for now, more to come in a few :)

Hey y'all - Grammy Awards - Part 3!!!

This next part starts with President Obama speaking against violence against women, and encouraging artists to use their fame and platform to help end that violence. That is something that should unite us all, right? Then, a survivor of domestic violence comes on stage to share her story. This leads into a performance by Katy Perry of By the Grace of God, which is about surviving an abusive relationship.

Am I supposed to know who the heck these strangers are on this Target sponsored performance? Do you know who it is? Are they done yet? Seriously! Apparently it's Imagine Dragons? I'm supposed to know that?

Now American Idol runner-up Katherine McPhee, fresh off her brilliant performance in Smash and now known more for her acting (?) introduce Lady Gaga & Tony Bennett singing Cheek to Cheek from their duet album. She looks like a cross between Mae West & Jessica Rabbit. Good thing she's overly animated because he's not, but he still sounds great! Aww, he looks like he's dancing with his wild child granddaughter at her wedding. With all her spectacle it can be forgotten that she can actually sing. Jane Fonda is there with someone who looks like he died during Pharrell's performance.

CBS & the Grammys will be honoring the wonderful Stevie Wonder with a special on February 16th. So, tonight, Usher is performing one of Stevie's songs, If It's Magic. He's starting off accompanied by just a harp. No autotune, no dancing, just his voice and the harp. And he sounds good. Too many performers these days rely too much on tricks and production to be a star. If you are a singer, here's a novel idea, how about you just sing. STEVIE!! HARMONICA!! Nice and low key. Hey Chrissy Teigan, spit out your dang gum.

Keith Urban is now on to introduce Dale Gribble, I mean Eric Church, singing Give Me Back My Hometown. This is a great song. Now Brandy Clark with Dwight Yoakam. That's some real good old fashioned country right there. Not a pickup truck or six pack in sight.

Now, Rihanna, Paul McCartney and Kanye West are performing together. Yes, you read that correctly. I can't make this up. FourFiveSeconds is the song and it's catchy as heck. When did RiRi get such a big voice? Actually, she's probably always had it, why haven't they let her use it? Oh stop showing Big Brother Frankie and Kim K. That's the best Live Performance Rihanna has ever given.

Taylor Swift, after giving a Grammy to Sam Smith earlier, now introduces him singing with Mary J. Blige. Yes, another ballad. Sorry y'all haha. He does do upbeat songs I swear. I love the super choir trying to be all hip and snapping. They are like the church choir in every movie. Love Sam's voice and love Mary J., but this was just 2 people singing more than a true duet. Only at the end did they sing together, which sounded great!

Now Gina Rodriguez from Jane the Virgin, which I hear is great, is introducing Latin superstar Juanes singing Juntos. I think I understand more of his lyrics than I did AC/DC. He looks like Sam from True Blood a little bit haha.

Now to present Album of the Year...PRINCE! I love that he looks like a teacher from a 1970s TV special in that hair and caftan and trousers.. I learned that Ed Sheeran's album X is actually pronounced "Multiply". I'm surprised this award isn't last like it usually is. Weird. Beck wins album of the year over the ones I've actually heard songs from. Kanye tried to make a funny and pull a Kanye. Bless his heart. I thought it'd be Beyonce or maybe Sam. At least it wasn't Pharell. How/why does Enrique Iglesias get to present song of the year? If your recent career consists of appearing on records with Pitbull, you have to stay away from the Grammys.

Shia is introducing Sia. He's in the video for her new song. Chandelier is a great song. Sia doesn't show her face when she performs, so that isn't an odd thing. Is that Kristen Wiig? I recognize the girl as that girl on the dancing show with the scary lady who yells at children. Sia is kinda odd like this so just know that for her, it's kinda normal. If I'd never seen her before, I'd think it was crazy as heck though. So mocking it would kinda be like making fun of me for not eating salad. haha

Enrique Iglesias, who used to be kinda cool on the English charts before making crappy songs, presents song of the year to Stay With Me by Sam Smith, a great song. I'm very happy with it. I would have been happy with most of those songs. Ranking: 1) Stay With Me 2) Chandelier 3) Take Me To Church 4) Shake It Off 5) All About That Bass

3 performances, 2 categories, probably will take an hour. I still have Walking Dead to watch! Dave Grohl is here so I'm guessing he's introducing Beck & Chris Martin, but first, a thank you to David Letterman. Aww, sad he's retiring. At least they finally got Jay Leno's unfunny butt off the air. Nice low key performance.

Now, Jamie Foxx and the awesome STEVIE WONDER!! present Record of the Year. Who will it be? Stay With Me? Shake It Off? Chandelier? Fancy (oh I hope not!)? All About That Bass? And the Grammy goes to...Stay With Me!! Good for Sam. Big night for him.

Gwyneth is there, why? At least she's just introducing Beyonce. Let's see how pretentious she will be! But first, Jennifer Hudson introducing something with Grammy bigwigs. It's something about legislation or something. At least she's not singing that horrible weight watchers song again. Now, the parade of those who passed away. It kind of sounds like they have the audience microphone up so you can hear how loud the applause is for each performer. Classy. Hopefully I just misheard it.

Gwyneth only slightly pretentious. Beyonce singing Precious Lord Take My Lord. Beyonce taking it to church but in a low key (for her) sort of way too! Which then leads to John Legend and Common performing their wonderful song from the film Selma which I thought was great and powerful. Let's all look for our common ground and get along based on our similarities and not hate each other due to differences. God Bless Us All. Amen.

Good night everyone!

Hey y'all - Grammy Awards - Part 2!!

Now, Kanye West is performing. He can be an absolute jerk, and his wife is more annoying than my arthritis, but when Kanye is on he is ON. I heard his song with Paul McCartney and Rihanna and it was actually good. When he uses his ego in a good way, it can be good. I just saw what Kim is wearing. It looks like one of Blanche's robes.

Now, Miley Cyrus and Nicki Minaj introduce a performer. THEY introduce Madonna. Did Madonna draw the short straw? This is one of her catchiest songs in years. I think she's dancing with the minotaur from American Horror Story: Coven from 2013, while dressed like Elsa from American Horror Story: Freak Show. TayTay and her friend are having a big ol' dance party in the front row. Good for her. No, she's not the best dancer but she's having fun which is good.

Josh Duhamel, and 2 New England Patriots (Edelman and Butler, hey there UWA fella!) present best rock album. Josh trips going up the stairs and the Patriots trip going over their lines. Beck wins, which isn't a shock since he's also nominated for album of the year. I've only listened to one of those albums, the U2 one, because I got it free on the iTunes.

Two legends, Smokey Robinson and Nile Rodgers, two who truly are legends are presenting best R&B performance. It will probably go to Beyonce & Jay-Z for Drunk In Love. None of the others were even big enough to contend. And, predictably they win. Where'd Jay go? Wasn't he just with her? Did Solange go after him again? Stay out of the elevator Jay!

James Corden from Into the Woods, Begin Again, and CBS' new late night talk show (hey synergy!) introduces Ed Sheeran. He's singing his new song "Thinking Out Loud" about love lasting through the years like that and such. I kinda wish he would have sung Don't which was about singer Ellie Goulding cheating on him with one of the blokes from One Direction. Haha, that was an evil song. This song is destined to be in SOOOO many weddings this year. Still a nice performance. That leads into Jeff Beck & ELO performing Evil Woman. That would have been PERFECT after Don't. Paul McCartney was standing & clapping but then felt self conscious and sat down. ELO is very famous for being in at least 3 crossword puzzles a week. I think the awesome group Haim is giving TayTay a run for her money on dancing & singing.

Now, the host of American Idol introduces 2 of the judges from The Voice, neither of which are on CBS. Let's see if I like this Maroon 5 song. Until Animal came out, they were on a big losing with me. Gwen looks great and glad she is singing instead of whatever it was she did on her last song. That said, I don't think this song fits her voice. He'd be better off singing it with Christina Aguilera instead maybe? But enough with the ballads, anyone have anything fun to sing?

Now, the performance I've been waiting for, Hozier singing Take Me To Church. I heard a dance remix of this the other day and it made me very sad because it was awful & unneeded. His original is the only version needed. Now Annie Lennox joins me and I got CHILLS! Now into her version of I Put a Spell On You. Truly one of the greatest voices in music. If you don't agree, take your car key and clean the wax out of your ears. So far THIS is the performance of the night!

Pee Wee Herman and Miss Yvonne present Best Country Album. Wait, that's Meghan Trainor and Nick Jonas. Sorry about that. The Grammy goes to...Miranda Lambert for Platinum. I do love her song Automatic.

Now, The Weekend, sounding like he had too much fun over The Weekend, introduces Pharrell doing Happy, but in a new way. Some spoken word thing with some "world famous" pianist I've never heard of, Hans Zimmer, plus he's dressed like the bellhop from The Grand Budapest Hotel, but with gold and yellow shoes. Maybe he figured everyone was sick of the other version? I know I am. No, then he launches into it. I so very hate this song. If you do I'm sorry. I'm not sorry I offended you, I'm sorry you like it.

OK, part 3 time!

Hey y'all - Grammy Awards - Part 1!

Hey Grammy watchers and readers. We are starting off with LL Cool J in a Kangol Hat (what a shocker!) introducing AC/DC. You pan the crowd to see lots of folks in suits and dresses moshing along like they've already had 5 Natty Lights. They are mostly wearing LL Cool J hats on too (I'm sensing a theme). The lead guitarist is wearing a coat, tie, and short pants. Maybe he's auditioning for the Australian AARP version of Harry Potter or Spring Awakening? I have to admit my knowledge of AC/DC is, well, next to nothing. I know, me not a hard rock fan, whoda thunk it? Lead singer looks and sounds a little constipated though. I can't understand a thing he's singing, but Dave Grohl is rocking out. Oh how precious, devil horns were passed out to the audience for Highway to H-E-Double Hockey Sticks (it's Sunday, live with it). Annoying reality show personality (not star) Frankie Grande from Big Brother looks like he got a good seat close to the action. He got it because of his sister. I got a sweater for Christmas because of my sister, not Grammy seats. Oh well, I like the sweater and wore it this week.

First award of the night is Best New Artist. Kinda early for it but oh well. I'm rooting for Sam Smith because his voice and songs are amazing. I'd be happy with anyone but Iggy, thankfully Sam wins. Go up there and get your award from Taylor (not performing tonight because she said she was prepping for her world tour. I would have loved for her to perform Shake It Off backed by a marching band. You have to admit that would have sounded cool.) Sam gave a short speech, then a commercial. They are teasing an Ariana Grande performance as you've never seen her before. Maybe she'll actually be pronouncing consonants tonight? My friend calls her "Slurriana Grande" haha. She has a great voice but horrible enunciation and habits.

Yea for Anna Kendrick. Anyone else looking forward to Pitch Perfect 2? Bad enunciation habits again. I think for every word she slurs, she should pay money to charity. Fog machine got in her way. Looks like she was on the set of Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart video. Grande's a tiny thing, she'll get lost in that fog.

Now, Jessie J is presenting and performing with Tom Jones. Tom Jones is famous for having women throw their underwear on stage when he performs. Jessie J is honoring that by wearing what to looks be only granny panties and a black swan. I do love her voice though. Lady can WAIL! They are presenting Best Pop Solo. Please, no Happy or All of Me. I despise both of those songs. If you like them, well, yeah, I don't care. I flip the station immediate when either is on. ARE YOU FLIPPING KIDDING ME? NO NO NO NO NO.

Now Miranda Lambert is singing Little Red Wagon but the music is WAY too loud. I can barely hear her. Apparently she's got a potty mouth too. AC/DC performs with no problem but the country artist gets bleeped. Bless her heart haha

Now, Pentatonix (all 537 of them) and Barry Gibb are presenting best pop vocal album. It had better go to Sam or Ed. If Miley gets it, I'll shoot my TV. Thankfully, my TV is safe, Sam wins! That's a great CD. I got it from Santa Claus. It's not just slow sad songs y'all, I promise.

OK, I think that'll do for part 1. On to part 2!
